My new habit of shooting breakfast carts is showing me a different side of the city
I've started taking photos of morning food vendors on my way to work. It's amazing how much story you can get from someone grabbing a quick coffee. Has anyone else tried focusing on food-related moments in their street shots?

Read that post the same way as coleman.anthony and was ready to call the cops. His panic is totally valid given your word choice. The actual photos sound like a cool way to see the city wake up though.

Do photographers ever think about how their terms might scare people? Words like 'shoot' or 'capture' can sound violent if you're not used to them. Waking up early for that morning light must make for some great shots.

Wait, did you really just say "shooting breakfast carts"? My brain totally read that the wrong way at first and I almost had a heart attack. You mean PHOTOGRAPHY shooting, right? Like with a camera? For a second there I thought you'd gone full action movie on some poor guy's coffee stand. That word choice is wild when you're not expecting it. Once I got past that, the actual idea sounds pretty cool though.
