Did you find that Holbein set on a major sale? I use their oils for exterior work and a starter set usually runs closer to $80. The pigment density is why it captures light better, student grades have more filler. That quality difference is exactly what keeps my crews from needing touch-ups so often.

Actually, @the_linda, that reminds me of my buddy who geeks out over guitar strings the same way (always arguing about nickel vs. phosphor bronze).

Upgrading my tools changed everything for me too, like @leob97's friend with his guitar strings. Good gear just makes the work more fun.
