Yoga flows used to be about the breath, now it's all speed

When I started, teachers would hold poses longer and guide each inhale and exhale. Today, most flows rush you from one shape to the next without pause. That old pace let you actually feel the stretch and calm your mind. Now, it feels like just another workout, missing the point.

Find a slower studio, they still exist.

Switching to a slower studio per @nancy447's tip did the trick.

Actually, that advice from Nancy447 can backfire if your form is off. Slower studios just let you cement bad habits with basic moves. Good technique matters more than speed, always.
