Hit 1000 days without a single pest complaint from my tenants
I own a few rental houses here in the South Valley, and I just realized I hit 1000 days without a single bug complaint from any tenant. It started when I switched to quarterly barrier sprays myself instead of paying a company $150 each visit. I just do it every 3 months like clockwork, costs me about $20 in supplies. Has anyone else found a simple routine that keeps their rentals pest free without breaking the bank?

Good for you, man. That's solid work.

Figure out if the person you're replying to actually changed something about how they work or just got better at faking it. I've seen too many guys look great on paper but their actual numbers tell a different story. The real test is if that solid work shows up in their profit margins or client retention six months down the road.

Is it really that serious though? I mean, somebody gets their numbers in order and now we're talking about profit margins six months down the road like we're auditing their tax returns. Plenty of small wins come and go, and sometimes a solid week is just a solid week. Not everything has to be a referendum on someone's long term viability. Let the guy have his moment without turning it into a six month performance review.
