The electrician who talked me out of a $4,500 panel upgrade
I called a licensed electrician in Albuquerque to upgrade my 100-amp panel after buying a 2020 home, but he spent 20 minutes looking at the wiring and told me to save my money. He showed me that my house's load was fine and that the real problem was a loose neutral at the meter, which he fixed for $120. Has anyone else had a contractor talk them out of a big job when they could have just taken the money?
