Water bill dropped $40 after I fixed that drip
Had a faucet in the guest bathroom that dripped for like 6 months. Ignored it cause it seemed small. Finally replaced the washer and O-ring last month. Next bill came and it was $40 less than normal. Anyone else find a sneaky leaky drain on their wallet like that?

$40 is insane for ONE drippy faucet.

Yeah I totally get what you're saying, $40 for a single faucet that drips is just ridiculous. But here's my question though - what kind of drip are we talking about here? Is it just a slow drip from the spout or is it leaking from the handle or base too? Because those different types of drips can mean totally different fixes and some are way more of a pain than others.
