Hit a door ding with heat instead of filler and it popped right out
Had a shallow dent on a rear quarter panel from a shopping cart at the Kroger on 5th, and a guy I know said try a heat gun and compressed air before breaking out the bondo. Took about 90 seconds of warming and one quick burst of air and it popped back to nearly flush, saved me a whole refinish. Anyone else use the heat and cold trick, and does it risk cracking the clear if you push it too far?
