Just saw a guy at the shop next door skip the metal prep step on a quarter panel
He went straight to filler over bare, sanded steel. I gave him a heads up because that bond is gonna fail in under a year, guaranteed. Anyone else catch this shortcut happening more often lately?

Classic move. He's basically just gluing dirt to the car at that point.
