The paint drying booth at the shop I use was a total scam for 8 months
Bossman swore the infrared bulbs were saving us money but I checked the meter myself and it was pulling 50 amps for nothing - air-dried panels came out cleaner every time. Anyone else's shop getting suckered by fancy add-ons that don't do squat?

Did you ever try calling the manufacturer on that infrared setup? I had a similar issue with one of those "energy efficient" curing systems, turned out the control board was jacked up and it was just eating power without actually outputting the right heat. We switched back to old school quartz heaters and it cost half as much to run, lol. Sometimes the fancy stuff just isn't worth the headache when the basic method works fine.
