Tried that $40 spray gun from Harbor Freight just to see what would happen

Spent a Saturday painting a fender with it and the orange peel was so bad it looked like a golf ball. Has anyone else had luck with cheap guns or should I just stick with my Devilbiss?

Man, that's rough but kinda funny too. It's like when you buy the cheap version of anything and hope it works the same as the expensive one. I tried one of those $30 HVLP guns once and it spit more than it sprayed. Honestly, I think some stuff you just gotta pay for the quality.

Huh, I mean I get where you're coming from but honestly I've had the opposite luck. I picked up a $25 airbrush kit from Harbor Freight and it's still going strong three years later. Maybe it's just me but sometimes the cheap stuff surprises you if you're willing to mess around with it a little.
