Smoker fire during my first brisket competition in Austin
Was at the Lockhart competition back in 2018. My WSM hit 400 degrees because I forgot to clean the grease trap before lighting. Lost a $90 brisket and had to borrow a buddy's offset just to finish the turn-in. You ever have a cook go sideways on you like that?

Used to think grease fires were overblown until I had to borrow that offset too.

Ngl, grease fires are just part of cooking if you know what you're doing.
