Comparing meal prep Sunday to batch cooking Wednesday was a clear winner for me

I tried doing all my Sunday prep for the week, but by Thursday stuff was wilting in the fridge. Switched to batch cooking Wednesday on my day off and making double portions of stews and rice bowls, and I stretched $40 to cover 12 meals instead of 8. Anyone else find a specific day or method that just works better for keeping food fresh and costs down?

Wednesday prep works way better for keeping greens from getting sad.

Interesting point, @tylerr39. What exactly makes Wednesday the sweet spot? Is it just that you're giving the greens less time to sit before the weekend hits, or do you find they hold up better somehow with the mid-week timing? I've tried Sunday prep and they're always mush by Thursday, so I'm curious about the specific details of your method.
