Tell me about it... those little plastic clamshells add up so fast. I've started just buying a plant or two instead.

My friend spent like twenty bucks on basil last month, then her cat ate the whole plant.

But fresh herbs make everything taste better, and @the_mary probably learned the hard way about keeping plants away from cats.
