PSA: I picked a $6 rotisserie chicken over cooking my own and now I have 4 meals and zero regrets
My grocery store in Tulsa sells whole cooked rotisserie chickens for $5.99 and I did the math on a raw one plus seasoning and an hour of oven time. The cooked one won, so I pulled all the meat and got 4 dinners out of it plus soup stock from the bones. I feel a little lazy but my electric bill probably doesn't miss running the oven at 425 for 90 minutes. Does anyone else lean on the rotisserie bird or am I just fooling myself about the savings?
