Saw a lady at the Aldi off Main Street buy 12 bags of frozen veggies for $18 total

She told me she meal preps every Sunday for four people on $45 a week and the frozen aisle is her secret weapon, has anyone else found that frozen produce holds up better than fresh for batch cooking?

Honestly $45 a week for four people is wild to me. I spend that on just myself and still feel like I'm struggling. Frozen veggies have always been solid for soups and stir fries, never had them get mushy like fresh does after a few days.

12 bags for $18 is amazing, that lady knows what she's doing. I've noticed more and more people are going that route, especially since prices shot up everywhere else. @thomas105 is right, frozen holds up way better for batch cooking and you're not throwing out half a bag of wilted spinach by Thursday.
