Bumped into an art teacher at the craft store who totally changed my weekly layout

I was grabbing a new micron pen at Michaels last Saturday when this older lady leaned over and said my spread was too cluttered, then showed me her one-page weekly with just three boxes. She explained she only tracks her top three tasks each day plus a small gratitude note, and now my whole system runs way smoother. Anybody else had a random stranger fix a big frustration in your bujo setup?

Wait, so you're telling me a random nice lady at a craft store figured out my whole chaos in like ten seconds flat? Because that's basically what happened to me last year with a junk journal guy at Hobby Lobby who told me I was using my index spread completely wrong. I had like fifteen collections crammed into two pages and it was a total mess. He just said "pick three things you actually look at every week and put those first," and I felt kind of dumb for not thinking of that myself. Now I only have a simple weekly spread with a little habit tracker and it's way less overwhelming. Funny how we overcomplicate stuff until some stranger cuts through the noise.
