Can we talk about when your weekly spread just completely falls apart?

Last Thursday my kid got sick, my work deadline moved up, and I had three appointments cancel. My neat color-coded boxes turned into a scribbled mess of arrows and cross-outs by Friday. Anyone else have a week where the plan just evaporated?

Oh man, tell me about it. Last week my whole schedule got flipped by a surprise plumbing disaster. My planner looked like a battlefield by Wednesday.

My friend's planner had coffee stains and a ripped page after her cat knocked it over.

Blame the cat all you want, but that ripped page and coffee stain probably happened because the planner was left open and unattended. If it was stored properly in a drawer or a book weight was on the closed pages, a cat couldn't do that damage. I've got a cat myself and my planner has survived for two years because I shut it and put a heavy mug on top every time I walk away. Your friend might want to get a notebook with a cover that flips closed tight instead of blaming the pet every time. It's just a planner, not a priceless artifact, so maybe she should just buy a new one and move on.
