My weekly spread got way cleaner after I switched to a two page layout

For months I crammed everything into one page and my handwriting turned into scribbles by Wednesday. Last month I tried splitting tasks and events across two facing pages, and now I actually read it at a glance. Has anyone else found a spacing trick that fixed their layout?

Two pages just means twice as much blank space to stare at when you're trying to find one thing. You've got your tasks on the left and events on the right, but now you're flipping back and forth like a madman every time you need to cross something off. Same logic as those people who spread their groceries across two carts, it looks cleaner but you always end up leaving something behind. My one page layout is a mess by Thursday, sure, but at least everything is in one spot where my eyes already know where to go. Switching to two pages sounds like a fix for a problem that was really just about writing smaller.
