Question about the bullet journal section at the Portland library
Honestly, I was at the central branch last week and they had a whole display of bullet journal books next to the planners. Ngl, it made me wonder if libraries are seeing more people check out stuff about this system. Do you think physical books are still a big way people learn about bujo?

Yeah, I saw an article about how library craft sections are booming again. It said people are getting tired of learning everything from shaky phone videos and actually want a real book to flip through. For bullet journaling, a physical book lets you see the spreads way better than on a screen. My local branch has a few copies that are always checked out, so someone's reading them.

The library must be the only place where you can hear a dozen people quietly arguing over the last book on knitting cat sweaters. My branch has a single copy of "Watercolor for Beginners" with pages stained by what I hope is just enthusiastic coffee drinking. You practically need to get on a waitlist like it's the latest thriller, but for learning how to fold origami cranes. It's a quiet, polite battle over craft books in there.

Guess the coffee-stained craft books are the new library holdouts. At least bullet journal books are less messy to fight over.
