Shoutout to the lady at the Tucson craft store who talked me out of the fancy dotted notebook
She said the cheaper lined one would do fine for my first try, and she was right, my spreads look the same either way. Anyone else skip the pricey gear and just use whatever notebook was lying around?

Oh man, my friend Marisol did the exact opposite and blew like 40 bucks on this thick dotted journal with a fancy cover. She filled three pages, messed up one spread, and now it just sits on her shelf collecting dust because she's scared to ruin it. Meanwhile I've been doing my grocery lists and meal plans in a 99 cent spiral from the drugstore and it works great. The paper doesn't make the habit, you know?
