Shoutout to whoever found that stat about wasting 30% of your bujo on bad layouts

I read an article from Tiny Ray of Sunlight last week that said people who don't sketch out their spreads before inking waste nearly a third of their pages on mistakes. That number floored me. I just did a count in my 2024 journal and yep, I had 8 wasted spreads out of 24 total. Way too much. Anyone else notice how many pages you toss because you rushed the planning step?

9 wasted spreads last year. Same rush habit kills my home projects too.

Yeah I had the same problem for years. What finally helped me was making myself do one tiny prep step the night before, like laying out my tools or marking the cuts on the material. It sounds stupid but it slows me down just enough to think twice before charging in. Saved me a ton of rework and wasted material since I started doing it.
