Spent 2 hours building a weekly spread that I hated after 3 days
I got really into that rolling weekly layout everyone posts on Instagram, so I sat down and spent a full 2 hours drawing out columns, adding little habit trackers, and color coding everything. By Wednesday I realized I never used half the boxes and the layout was too cramped for my actual tasks. Ended up ripping out the whole thing and going back to a basic Ryder Carroll setup. Has anyone else found a fancy layout that just didn't work for real life?

Wait, you actually ripped out pages you spent two whole hours on? That takes some guts, most people would just let it sit there and collect dust. I guess sometimes the prettiest layouts just don't hold up when you actually try to use them.

Did I accidentally sign up for the "book journaling extreme sport" edition or something? I figured if I'm going to waste two hours on a page, I might as well get the full adrenaline rush of destroying it too. Honestly, watching those pages go felt more satisfying than keeping them around as a constant reminder of my bad choices.
