Update: I saw a lady at the Denver library just using a pencil and a cheap notebook, and it changed my whole setup.
Honestly, I was stressing over my fancy pens and layouts, but watching her quickly log tasks with just a basic pencil made me realize I was overcomplicating the whole thing, so has anyone else ditched their expensive supplies for something simpler?

My Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen is basically an extension of my hand now.

Pencil works fine until someone spills coffee on your whole list lmao. The fancy stuff is fun but half the time you're just fiddling with your pen instead of writing stuff down. End of the day it's whatever gets the job done.
