Used to plan every single day in my bujo now I just wing it week to week
I used to be the person who would sit down every Sunday night and map out every hour of the next 7 days in my bullet journal. Color coded boxes, time blocks, the whole deal. But around 6 months ago I just got tired of it because life never followed my plan anyway. Now I only set up a weekly spread with a simple task list and a spot for notes. I leave space for unexpected stuff like when my car broke down last Tuesday and I had to scramble. Honestly it feels way less stressful and I actually get more done because I'm not fighting a schedule that doesn't fit. Do you guys find planning too rigid or do you still do the full day by day thing?

Used to think full planning was the only way to do it, but now I totally get why you stopped.

Did you just call me the poster child for giving up too soon, @hugo236?

...and honestly I tried the whole scrapbooking thing for my wedding planning and ended up with like 47 sticky notes all over my bathroom mirror instead. My husband kept finding little bits of paper stuck to his face in the morning. So I guess what I'm saying is sometimes giving up on the fancy system is just admitting you need a different kind of chaos, lol.

Wait, you actually stopped planning altogether? That sounds like total chaos to me, I'd feel lost without at least a rough outline. But I guess if it works for you, maybe I'm just missing something.
