Was sure those fancy dot grid notebooks were a scam, my $8 Walmart one proved me wrong
Kept seeing people post about needing the $30+ Japanese ones and figured it was just hype, but my cheap spiral bound one has held up fine for 4 months of daily logs. The dots are a little lighter than the expensive ones but honestly my pens don't bleed through any worse. Anyone else find a budget notebook that surprised them, or did I just get lucky with this batch?

The lighter dots aren't a batch thing, that's just how most cheap ones are made. Had one like that for a year and my pens still didn't bleed, so you're fine.
