Hit 1000 flagged comments on my personal blog in one month - never expected that number

I started a small blog about local politics in my town back in 2022, just sharing town council meeting notes and zoning updates. Last month I got a notification that my hosting provider had flagged over 1000 comments for review. That number blew my mind because I only get like 50 visitors a day. Turns out most of the flagged comments were just people arguing about property lines and school funding, nothing illegal. But the provider's automated system kept kicking them out anyway unless I manually approved each one. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like that with their content just getting buried by filters?

Ha, guess spicy chili and spicy politics both set off the same alarms.

Man, a buddy of mine had his recipe blog flagged for "violent content" because of a chili recipe.
