I thought getting my book pulled from Amazon was the worst, but having my local library in Austin cancel my talk on zoning laws hurt way more.

The library said they got 'community feedback' that my talk was 'too political', which made me realize that losing a big platform is one thing, but having your own town shut you down cuts way deeper. Has anyone else had a local event canceled for a reason that felt really weak?
