My video about a protest in my town got taken down last night

I filmed a small rally at our city hall in Springfield about library funding cuts. Posted it on a big platform, and it was gone in under an hour. No warning, just a generic 'violation' notice. It was just people holding signs and talking. I've appealed, but it feels like they just don't want that story seen. Has anyone else had a local news video removed like this?

Those platforms often use bots that flag anything with crowds.

The bots flagging crowds thing is part of it, but the bigger issue is the word "protest" in your title or description. That word alone can trigger an automatic takedown on some platforms, no matter how peaceful the video is. They have filters set to catch anything that might lead to arguments. Your appeal might work if you can get a real person to see it was just a rally.
