Shoutout to the mod who deleted my post about the local water fluoridation vote

Last week I posted a simple question asking if anyone else had noticed our city council meeting minutes disappearing from the public archive, and it got taken down within an hour with no explanation. Turns out the mods here have a list of 'approved topics' that somehow doesn't include questioning government transparency. Has anyone else run into hidden rules like that in this group?

Funny how that works... once they start scrubbing stuff you can't help but wonder what else got deleted quietly. Did you ever figure out if those meeting minutes were actually removed from the city's official site too, or just from here? I've noticed the mods around here tend to get real picky when you start poking at anything involving local government money or votes. Kinda makes you question who's really running the show behind the scenes.

My neighbor Dave actually runs a small blog about local zoning stuff and he caught the city clerk deleting old planning commission recordings last year. He started asking about missing votes on a new apartment complex and suddenly his access to public records requests got "delayed" by like 4 months. It's wild because the records are supposed to be kept for 7 years minimum but somehow they just vanish when someone starts digging too deep. Makes you wonder if there's a whole archive of deleted stuff that nobody even knows exists anymore.
