That quote, which was just a primary source about labor strikes, made me see how 'safety' rules can erase real history and stop people from learning.

My buddy got into a huge fight about some old science quote last week. He kept saying it was just a fact, like you're saying @ray_coleman41, but his friend took it as a personal attack. They spent an hour going in circles over the exact same words.

Best thing to do is screenshot the original source with the date showing, then message the mods privately and ask them to read it in context. Usually saves a lot of back and forth if you just show where it came from.
