That $40 VPN subscription saved my blog from getting banned in Belarus last month

I run a small news blog about local politics in Eastern Europe and I got a warning from my host that my content was flagged for removal. Paid $40 for a year of VPN service and rerouted everything through a server in Germany. Have any of you had to switch ISPs or hosts completely to keep your content online?

Saved from getting banned in Belarus" - thats wild, makes me wonder if a host switch would be even safer long term.

You ever had a host that just felt like it was waiting to get shut down? Yeah, same thing happened to me with a provider in Germany. Had a small project on there, nothing sketchy, and they pulled the plug with zero warning. @burns.ruby I switched to a host in Iceland after that. Not cheap but feels way more solid.
