That time my blog got nuked just for linking to a study from a real university
Last April I posted a link to a peer-reviewed paper about mask efficiency and my whole WordPress site was flagged as misinformation within 3 hours, so now I keep offline backups and host my own email list.

yeah actually the paper itself was probably fine, it's just the automated flagging systems that are super trigger happy these days with anything health related

You're exactly right about those automated flags being too sensitive. I had a paper about cold prevention get flagged once and it took weeks to sort out because the system couldn't tell the difference between general health information and something dangerous. Best thing you can do is save screenshots of everything and reach out to a real human at the platform as soon as it happens.
