Rant: I thought the $180 dive light was a waste until the harbor job in Norfolk

For two years I ran the cheap $40 backup and called guys who bought real lights showoffs, then last month I did a pier inspection in Norfolk with maybe 8 inches of visibility and my buddy's $180 light was the only reason I could see the anode bolts. Now I want to know if anyone has run the sealed canister lights in that same muck and whether they hold up better than the handhelds.
