Can we talk about how much torque a Cat C15 actually makes?

I was reading an old service bulletin from 2005 and it said the peak is 2050 lb-ft, which is just a crazy number to think about. Has anyone here ever dyno'd one and seen it hit that mark?

Man, 2050 lb-ft? That's not an engine, that's a planetary gearset waiting to happen. I bet the dyno just shows a picture of a twisted driveshaft and the word "no". You'd need a concrete block just to keep the truck from climbing the wall.

Wow, that number is wild. I saw one on a dyno years back and it was right in that ballpark, just a monster of an engine.
