Caught a 6.0 Powerstroke idling rough. Found one injector reading 45 ohms.

Looked up Ford's spec on those injectors. Should be around 0.5 to 5 ohms. That 45 explained the whole shake. Found a TSB bulletin on Identifix that showed the common failure pattern. Anyone else rely on Identifix or just use factory manuals?

My buddy had the exact same thing on his 6.0. Showed up with a miss so bad the truck shook at a stoplight. He pulled the valve cover and found two connectors that looked melted on the inside. New harness and injector and it ran smooth again. He uses a mix of AllData and the Ford factory CD, but I know he's looked at Identifix a few times for weird electrical stuff.

Always some hidden gremlin in these things that comes back to a bad connection.
