My 6.7 ate a $32 sensor and cost me a whole Saturday in Fresno

I went cheap on the EGR temp sensor last month to save $40 and the truck derated on I-5 hauling a trailer at 3pm, so I'm done buying off-brand stuff for anything emission related, has anyone else had a cheap sensor strand them like that?

Learned that same lesson the hard way when my "good deal" sensor left me on the side of 99 in July heat. Now I just fork over the cash and cry about it at the counter instead of in the median.
