Put a $14 fuel filter in a 6.7 Powerstroke instead of the Motorcraft one, truck came back on a hook 3 weeks later
Pulled the fuel pressure regulator apart and found filter material shredded through the whole rail, cost the guy $1,900 in injectors. Anyone else gotten burned trying to save a customer 20 bucks on parts?
