Back in 2019 I laughed at a friend who swore by hiring a business coach for his bakery
I thought it was a total waste of money, like paying someone to tell you what you already know. Then last year my own online shop sales flatlined at $3,000 a month for six months straight and I finally tried one myself. Has anyone else been surprised by something they were totally against at first?

Wait, did you actually see results or was it more of a mindset shift? I was super against meal prep services for the longest time, thought it was just for lazy people who can't boil pasta. But then my sister sent me a free week and I realized how much time I wasted just figuring out what to eat every day. It didn't totally fix my diet or anything but it got me out of that weird rut where I'd eat cereal for dinner three times a week. Not saying coaches are the same thing, just that sometimes we write stuff off without really understanding what they're offering.

Did your friend's bakery end up doing better after that? I was totally against those meal kit services too until my neighbor Lisa tried one. She runs a small house cleaning business and used to complain about hating grocery shopping after work. Her husband got her a subscription for Christmas and she said it saved her about 4 hours a week she was spending figuring out meals. That time went straight into her client scheduling and she actually stopped burning out by Thursday every week.
