Is charging for customer support a smart move or a fast way to lose clients?
I see more SaaS companies adding $50 monthly fees for live chat support, but it feels like punishing people for needing help. Has anyone here tried this and seen better retention or just more cancellations?

OH WOW I used to think charging for support was greedy but now I honestly get it after watching how many people abuse free chat just to avoid reading documentation.

Saw some developer on YouTube saying the same thing. People were flooding his Discord with basic questions that were literally answered in the first paragraph of his docs. Free chat just turns into a customer service nightmare for devs.
