My $500 mistake with a 'growth hacking' webinar

I bought into a course promising secret social media tactics, but it was just repackaged info from free blogs. Lost a whole weekend and the cash. Anyone know a legit place to learn actual ad strategy?

Man, sorry you got burned. Here's the thing nobody's saying - instead of chasing some magic strategy, try looking up case studies from small businesses in completely different industries. Their ad setups and failures are often way more useful than any course because they're real people figuring it out with limited budgets, not polished guru sales pages. Just search "Meta ads case study [random industry]" and steal what works.

Ugh, that's the worst. Honestly, a lot of those "secret" courses are just info you can find for free. For real ad strategy, I'd skip the gurus and look at the official learning hubs from the platforms themselves, like Meta Blueprint. Their stuff is dry but it's the actual system.

But like, is it that deep? I've seen people get solid results just messing around with the ad builder and seeing what sticks. Meta's stuff feels like reading a manual for a toaster. Sometimes the "guru" tips, even if they're basic, are just easier to digest and actually get you to try something new.
