Thought dropshipping was a scam until I saw my buddy pull $8k in one month

My friend in Austin showed me his actual Shopify numbers and profit margins, and it was way higher than I expected. Has anyone else had their whole view flipped on a business model they were sure was BS?

My buddy Jacob in Denver runs three storefronts now. He started with one niche camping gear store and built it up over 18 months. The key for him was finding suppliers that actually shipped fast from US warehouses, not the 3 week China wait times. He showed me his Facebook ad costs and conversion rates, that's where the real magic happened. Most people probably write it off cause they see the garbage scam pages first.

Haven't you noticed that same pattern playing out all over the place these days? I swear, the whole "fast and reliable beats fancy and slow" thing applies to so many businesses now, not just online stores. Like the local coffee shop that switched to a better delivery service and suddenly had way more regulars. Or that auto shop near me that finally started answering their phone and booking same week appointments, now they're always packed. It's like people are so used to getting jerked around with slow shipping or bad customer service that when someone actually delivers on time and does what they say, word spreads fast. Facebook ads or whatever are just one part of it, but that foundation of trust and speed is what actually makes the whole thing work.
