Looking for a meditation guide that addresses chronic pain specifically.

Any recommendations for guided sessions that focus on physical discomfort?

Can body scan techniques actually make a difference with chronic pain? I rely on them to decompress after wrestling with anxious dogs all day, but I'm probably not the best advertisement for inner peace. The 'Pain Management' series on Insight Timer is a solid starting point.

Totally agree, @patricia_knight, body scans saved my sanity after long shifts too, and that Insight Timer series is a gem.

Ever tried directing your breath right into the sore spots? I found that helps more than just generic body scans for deep, constant pain. Like @the_lily said, scans are great for tension, but with chronic stuff I had to get more specific. I'd breathe into my lower back and imagine the air softening the muscles, just sitting with the feeling without fighting it. That subtle shift from trying to fix it to just being with it changed everything for me over time.
