The week my coffee shop foot traffic dropped by 60%
Last July, a new construction project blocked the sidewalk in front of my shop in Portland for five straight days, and I watched my daily sales fall from $800 to barely $320. Turns out, nobody wants to walk through a muddy construction zone for their morning latte, even if the coffee's good.
